Christmas at the Capitol
This weekend we made our first family trek into DC via the metro (which Benji and Ellie loved) We went to see the White House and the Presidential Christmas Tree. Surrounding the big tree are 50+ small trees, one to represent each of the states and US territories. Each tree had decorations on it sent from the state it was representing. What a diverse country we live in!
At the end of our adventure Santa showed up and Eliana sat on his lap and "wasn't scared or anything!"
