We celebrate Benji's 2nd birthday on March 17,2010. Not only did he get the ultimate gift, a new baby sister, we also ended up having an impromtu party/dinner on the 17th when we got back from the hospital with baby Ziva. Jonah had made corned beef in the crock pot and we were joined by our friends the Mann family and our neighbors Tom, Veronica, and Clark. Benjamin was thrilled because not only did he get his one request - a guitar cake, he also got a new green guitar with a strap from the Manns.
On Saturday we had a small celebration with Benji's friend Brad and another guitar cake. (This time I wasn't in labor while we made it so it looked a little better) Pizza, cake, some bubbles and a few blow up guitars made Benjamin feel like Rock Star for the day.
We love you Benjamin, watching you grow over the last two years has been an amazing joy to all of us.
