A Day in DC

Uncle Victor came to visit from SF last week and Jonah took Monday off so we could enjoy a family day in DC. Benjamin was so excited that we were going to ride the metro - just like Daddy gets to do every day for work. As an added bonus, he also got to see a Marc train, a passing metro train and a freight train. These were the highlights of his day. (Can you tell he is a 2 year old boy?)

We were hoping to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms but they were mostly finished. We did have a lovely picnic under the remaining blossoms and the big kids both loved running around near the monuments.

Victor wanted to go to the WWII memorial to pay his respects to his Grandfather and those who served our country.
